Three star pianists with three star string players from the London Mozart Players held us spellbound in an evening of music making where the audience and players were united in moments of sublime poetic effusions when time stood still.
Piano Quartets by Schumann op 47 with Milda Daunoraité, Fauré op15 with Dominic Degavino and Brahms op 25 with William Bracken, were played with searing intensity and subtle poetic collaboration with Sarah Butcher’s sumptuous cello playing and the driving intensity of Ruth Roger’s violin and Judith Busbridge’s viola .
A sumptuous outpouring of passion, drama and ethereal beauty transformed the National Liberal Club into an intimate haven of ravishing beauty sealing the collaboration between Promote Our Pianist concerts of the indomitable Mary Orr and the historic Kettner music society chaired by Peter Whyte.
